I hope this is only such kind of religious events where one can see Naga Sadhus in fierce ways, Baba's from different Ashrams as well as all these Rishis and Munis which we Indian are proud of.

Kumbh Mela is one of the largest human gathering in world and this time also we expect such an flow of people from different parts of world to attain this festival. from my past experience of organizing camps for Kumbh Mela, it seemed to me that not only we indian are very keen about this festival but also all those NRI's and Foreigners who are into photography as well as religious and spiritual events drop in to be the part of this huge festival.

Just couple of weeks ago, i got chance to travel to Rishikesh and Haridwar with those elderly uncle and aunt along with their family member for their religious and spiritual tour at the ago of 60 + years (Many Thanks to Ulltimate Travels and rupali Issar to make me their guide and help me to serve those elderly peoples.)

In that virtue, i got a chance to have glance at the pre preparation done by Uttranchal Goverment to promote this mega event. Seems like that Haridwar is being blowned up in colors and flowers as well as the bank of Holy Ganges being clean up. Its nice to see such efforts of Goverment to promote Kumbh Mela.

i hope to write further more details on Kumbh Mela and its rituals as well as try to provide further details on Bathing dates of Kumbh Mela, Akharas during Kumbh Mela and Camp Om (Accommodation in Haridwar).

May Peace always be Maintained !!

Hari Om !! It is used by millions of people in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka and increasingly in the west and is widely known as the oldest continously practiced system of medicine on the planet. The word "Ayurveda" is a tatpurusha compound of the word āyus meaning "life," "life principle," or "longevity" and the word veda, which refers to a system of "knowledge" or "wisdom." Thus "Ayurveda" roughly translates as the "wisdom for living" or "knowledge of a long life".
According to Charaka Samhita, "life" itself is defined as the "combination of the body, sense organs, mind and soul, the factor responsible for preventing decay and death, which sustains the body over time, and guides the processes of rebirth. According to this perspective, Ayurveda is concerned with measures to protect "ayus", which includes healthy living along with therapeutic measures that relate to physical, mental, social and spiritual harmony. Ayurveda is also one among the few traditional systems of medicine to contain a sophisticated system of surgery
Ayurveda aims at uprooting the main cause of the disease and its lifetime cure through a proper diet and disciplined lifestyle. Ayurveda, an ancient discipline of medical sciences, evolved in India during Vedic period. The busy and mechanical lifestyles of the people nowadays have increased the popularity of Ayurveda Tours as one of the theme travel tours in India. This in turn has shooted up the graph of tourists coming for the Ayurveda Tours in India.
The Ayurveda tours of India offer the purification of the mind, body and soul reviving the individual as a whole. The Ayurveda Tours in India focus on health and rejuvenation goals like de-stressing, detoxification and cleansing, deep relaxation, anti-aging, weight & inch loss.

ULLTIMATE TRAVELS

Ulltimate Travels Pvt. Sri Vaishnavism, as it is followed today is systematized by Sri Ramanuja, a great Vaisnava Saint. In the introductory verse of the Sri Bhasya (the commentary on Brahma Sutras), Sri Ramanuja traces this philosophy to the Upanishads.
Visistadvaita is the philosophy accepted by Sri Vaishnavism. The term literally means "non-duality of Reality as characterized by attributes". In this school, the first teacher is the Lord Narayana himself & his student was his consort Godess Lakshmi who communicated the philosophy to the commander-in-chief Visvaksena. From him it was handed over to a series of teachers known as the Alwars. They were headed by Sathakopa (Sri Nammalwar) who bestowed this knowledge unto Sri Nathamuni. Nathamuni’s grandson Yamunacharya (Alavandhar) was next to follow with his disciple Sri Ramanuja and a series of Acharyas like Sri Kuresa, Sri Nadadur Alvan, Sri Kidambi Accan, Tirukkurugaippiran Pillan who were followed by a hierarchy of Acharyas as listed in the Guruparampara... Read More
Sanskrit Gurukul Vidhyalaya
This Vidyalaya was established in 2006 since then students from all over India are studying Vedas, Vyakaran, Bhagvat and other scriptures together with basic English and mathematics.
